Recently we have noticed that Revised TDS returns of some SureTDS Users are rejected at TIN Center even after using consolidated TDS/TCS file.
Rejection of Revised TDS Return at NSDL after using Consolidated TDS File
This happens when users use the same consolidated TDS/TCS (.tds) file again and again for preparing revised TDS returns multiple times.
Whenever you have to revise your TDS return, whether original or already revised return, ALWAYS download the latest consolidated TDS/TCS file from NSDL website using our Online Service Utility.
An updated consolidated file contains all your data and other details up to date merged together in a single file (right from the original return to last correction statement filed and accepted at TIN). This will in all probabilities eliminate all standard and common reasons of file getting rejected at TIN Center.
Remember, every time you need to file a revise TDS return, make sure you download the most updated consolidated TDS/TCS file from NSDL Website and use the same to create your revised TDS return.
